Scientific Calculator: Trig, Logs & Constants
Use explicit operators, parentheses and radian angles
SimplyUtils provides a button-driven scientific calculator for real-number arithmetic. Build an expression using numbers, operators, parentheses, sin, cos, tan, log, ln, square root, pi and e. Select equals to calculate. The full expression stays visible, and the most recent ten successful calculations appear in the page's history.

Angle and operator conventions
Trigonometric functions use radians. To enter a 30-degree sine example, press sin, then build 30 * pi / 180 and close the parenthesis before equals. The result is approximately 0.5. There is no degree/radian switch.
mod is the remainder operator, not a percentage button. It keeps the sign of the left operand: -10 mod 3 is -1. Use the percentage calculator for percentage-of-total or increase/decrease calculations.
Powers associate from the right. A minus sign outside a power negates the power's result, so -2 ^ 2 is -4, while (-2) ^ 2 is 4. The sign button wraps or unwraps the current expression as a negation. Adjacent values need an explicit multiplication operator; enter 2 * pi rather than 2pi.
Edit, recover and continue calculating
Backspace removes the last expression character. AC clears the current input and error while retaining the in-page history. After equals, an operator continues from the result; a number or function starts a new expression. Continued calculations also accept a result displayed in scientific notation, such as 1e+21.
Close each opening parenthesis. Division or remainder by zero, square roots of negative values, unsupported syntax and non-finite results show an explanation and are not added to the successful history. AC or a new expression lets you recover. The calculator has no factorial, complex numbers, variables or equation solver.
Precision, limits and privacy
Results use floating-point arithmetic and display up to 12 significant digits. Decimal fractions and trigonometric values may be approximate; an extremely small value near zero can appear in scientific notation. Large intermediate values can exceed the numeric range. Expressions are limited to 256 characters.
The arithmetic parser runs in this browser without evaluating user input as JavaScript or making a calculation API request. History stays in page memory and clears on reload.
